Will You be Mine

It's not everyday you start off on a ride, only to read a marriage proposal on your way up a hill. Not for me of course! One has to think that the couple in question has to be in reasonable shape for the notes came in the form of many chalk written messages spread out on a hill climb, until the final "Will you be mine". What followed was a question mark another 10 yards ahead and we could only speculate the answer was or will be yes. So if you see a couple this morning in tears, chances are they are newly engaged. Or maybe they thought Brasil would win the World Cup. Either way, here's to you wherever you are. May you always see the cup half full, may you always strive to be together, may you pedal more than anyone could ever dream of. And when you renew your vows may you follow this same path again and remember where it all started with one simple question. Will you be mine.
