Pain Against Brain

My first successful Century Friday. I rode 100.4 total round trip commute miles today. I started at 4:50am, and ended at 6:45pm. Friends said I'm crazy, or suggested I bag it and mitigate my way home via ferry. No way. This is the Holy Grail of commutes for me. The World Cup of drama. The agony of success. But in a good way of course, as cyclists relate to. Century Fridays challenge the mind, common sense, and pits you against yourself. Weaknesses are exposed, and then exploited. A one on one chess match of pain against brain. Today, victory is mine by a mere three tenths of a mile. A perfect day.
