Did You Break the Law?
No, I did not. Seriously was that you out there? Were you the cyclist who thought yelling at a 4th grade kid on the Golden Gate Bridge was acceptable?
We are all just six degrees of separation away from each other. Driver, pedestrian, parent, cyclist we're all the same. Now I'm left playing damage control. A true cycling commuter realizes that thousands upon thousands of tourists walk the bridge. It is our responsibility to share the path with them. You know the tourists are just having fun so I suggest you slow down, soak in the view and enjoy yourself. Afterall, you have bigger issues to deal with.

Instead of dodge and weave on the bridge focus on the thrill ride descent to Sausalito. Evading tour buses and pedestrians walking in the bike lane is worthy of a few screams of terror. If that doesn't float your boat then take it up with your bicycle advocacy group of choice. MCBC is a great example of political clout and good will.
Now. Will someone please pass me a donut. I deserve it. I chased, then passed an elite group of cyclists this morning. And I didn't yell at a single kid.
