2014 Resolution - No Thanks I'm Good!

So I told my wife last night I'd either be riding solo, or have a group of four. Lucky for me Bryan pulled through and joined me for my first ride of 2014. Nope, riding isn't my New Year's resolution since it's already my religion. And last year I successfully held up my resolution of giving up coca-cola all year. In fact, I don't think I'll ever go back. I also managed to cut my caffeine intake immensely. So for 2014 I can honestly say, no thanks, I'm good.
That's not to say I won't be working on anything. As usual I will target the elusive holy grail of 168lbs riding weight. Also, a six pack for show and a stable core would of course be nice, and stronger knees also come to mind. But they aren't resolutions. They are dreams I continue to chase.
However, I can only hope 2014 will be the year my riding buddies dream less and ride more. The more riding I can do with friends this year the better. I'll hold up my end. I'll be riding at least three times a week, and I'm toying with the idea of an 8,000 mile year. So come out and join me and together we'll spin towards 2015, another year of resolutions not needed.
